Summary : Built from 1861 to 1862 by Richard Armstrong in a 14th century neo-Gothic style. The building is of snecked rock-faced ragstone with ashlar dressings and patterned tile roofs and a shingle spire. It consists of a nave, north aisle, a chancel, a north chapel, a south porch and a west tower with a spire. The tower is in three stages. It has a 2-light cusped and louvered bell chamber opening on all faces. The clock is on the second stage to the west with colonettes supporting a trefoiled, gabled wooden canopy. |
