Summary : Yanwath Hall is a semi-fortified tower and hall house built in the early to mid 15th century, with 16th and 17th century alterations. Occasional architectural fittings appear to be of 14th century date. The hall range stands at two storeys and the tower at three storeys. The structure is of squared semi-coursed pink sandstone and has a sandstone slate roof. |

Yanwath Hall is an important example of a medieval and later semi-fortified building. The tower is early 14th century with associated domestic buildings of a later date (2). Grade I (3). (2-3)
