Summary : A pit circle is visible as cropmarks on air photographs. It comprises a single circle of pits circa 10 metres in diameter. Another similar monument is located 220 metres to the northeast (SU 68 NW 178).
More information : The following feature was mapped from good quality air photographs:- Probable Prehistoric or Roman pit circle, seen as a cropmark. Morphological description: a subcircular enclosure, diameter 10m, defined by 1 line of pits. Centred at:-SU 6098 8570 (Morph No. TG.107.16.2) A very similar pit circle has been recorded 220m to the NE (SU 68 NW 178). This description has been generated from the RCHME MORPH2 database. (1)
