Summary : A pit circle is visible as a cropmark on air photographs. The site comprises a single circuit of pits circa 16 metres in diameter, and appears to feature an entrance gap. Another similar monument lies circa 220 metres to the southwest (SU 68 NW 179).
More information : The following feature was mapped from good quality air photographs:- Probable Prehistoric or Roman pit circle, seen as a cropmark. Morphological description: a circular enclosure, diameter 16m, defined by 1 line of pits, with 1 entrance. Centred at:-SU 6104 8591 (Morph No. TG.107.16.1) A very similar pit circle has been recorded 220m to the SW (SU 68 NW 179). This description has been generated from the RCHME MORPH2 database. (1)
