Summary : The monument includes the remains of the Vesper Gate at Kirkstall Abbey. It is situated approximately 280 metres north west of the Abbey House Museum (SE 23 NE 110) and to the north of Vesper Lane. This gate served as the western entrance to the abbey precinct and the remains include a single pillar of the gate. Scheduled and Listed Grade II.
