Summary : Eastern part of the Derwent Lead Mines. The remains of disused lead mines with associated tramway and engine house are visible on air photographs (1998). The engine house is Grade II listed, dates to the late nineteenth century, and is now in use as a water pumping station - 'Presser Pumping Station'.
More information : The remains of disused lead mines with associated tramway and engine house are visible on air photographs taken in 1998 and are centred at approximately NY 958 480. The engine house, centred at NY 9604 4781, is now re-used as a water pumping station - 'Presser Pumping Station'. It is Grade II listed and dates to the late nineteenth century. (1-3)
