TOWNELEY PARK

Landscape park, gardens and pleasure grounds to Towneley Hall. The park was laid out from the late 17th with further landscaping taking place in the late 18th century and early 19th century. The gardens and pleasure grounds date to the mid-late 18th century but incorporate some 17th and early 18th century features.
