Summary : Brick-built house, now T-shaped in plan with a cross wing to the north. Part of the cross wing dates from the late 15th/early 16th century but the remainder of the house was later rebuilt, probably in the late 16th century. The building was then larger than it is now, extending further to the south and west. It was reduced in size, probably in 1641 and again in the late 18th century. A brick dovecote stands north of the house. It is octagonal in plan with a pyramidal roof and is dated 1641. |
