Summary : In about 1932 human remains, two iron spear-heads and wooden bowls were found when the road was widened at Round Hills Holt. The finds were discovered on the northern boundary of the battlefield of Winceby and are probably associated with the 1643 battle as the dead where strewn 5 or 6 miles around Winceby. A total of 18 skeletons in rowsr of 6, were found.
