More information : SO 570 350 Holme Lacy is listed as a DMV identified between 1954 and Dec 1962. (1) Nothing visible on available APs (RAF July 1946) either at the reference given or in the area of the present church (SO 568 347). (2) The hollows in this area appear to be drainage ditches. The land is the flood plain of the River Wye, very flat, and it is doubtful whether a village could have existed here without a great risk of being constantly flooded. (3)
