Summary : Main block to Worcester College, constructed 1720-86 possibly by Dr George Clarke. It contains a hall, chapel, recessed gateway, loggia and library. The design of the chapel and library were changed later, possibly by James Wyatt. The chapel was also redecorated by William Burgess in 1864-66 but was restored to its original design in 1967. The block was refaced in 1924-6 and 1965-9.
