Summary : An orangery constructed in 1733-5 as a single storey building, an additional storey was added in c1806. It was extended in 1848 when the Daubeny Laboratory was constructed, another laboratory, the Manley Laboratory, was added in 1902, and extended in 1932. The Vines wing was added in 1910. All the additions are of two-storeys, constructed of ashlar in a style simlar to the orangery.
