Summary : St Michael's Well - poss holy well
More information : (NY 3790 6775) St Michael's Well (TI). (1)

"St Michael's Well, near St Michael's Church" - listed. (2)

A spring called St Michael's Well, recently cleared and excavated.
A stone basin is enclosed in a pointed arch, approached from above
by a much worn flight of stone steps and flagged paving with stone
benches on two sides and a channel for the overflow. The character of
the masonry suggests that it was contemporary with the nearby St
Michael's church, rebuilt in 1609. It has been much damaged since its
excavation. (3)

As described. Name confirmed. (4)
