Summary : Iron Age or Roman ditched enclosures are visible as cropmarks on air photographs. One group of enclosures is associated with an east-west boundary ditch, whilst the other enclosures are more fragmentary, but also strung out in an east-west direction. There are four round houses associated with this group of enclosures, suggesting some form of settlement.
More information : Cropmarks of three, possibly five, rectangular enclosures with associated boundaries. One group of two to four enclosures are located at SE 6627 3363, and one separate enclosure is located at SE 6641 3354. The largest enclosure appears to be approximately 30m by 40m. Another may contain a possible circular ditched enclosure, diameter approximately 10m, which may be a hut circle (SE 6628 3360). Possible Iron Age/Roman date.

The group of features described above are part of a larger complex of ditched enclosures and round houses, centred at SE 6651 3353.
