More information : Dispersed concentrations of enclosures and property boundaries were
seen as earthworks and mapped from poor quality air photographs.
These enclosures probably form part of the Medieval settlement of
Saltfleetby All Saints and are centred at TF 4550 9051, TF 4524 9057,
TF 4515 9059, TF 4558 9020 and TF 4514 9077. Ridge and furrow
associated with the settlement and still surviving as earthworks is
centred at TF 4537 9036, TF 4608 9078, TF 4572 9117, TF 4521 9152,
TF 4512 9014 and TF 4518 9090. This settlement lies very close to
other Medieval settlement features to the south and may form part
of a polyfocal settlement (see TF 48 NE 15).
