More information : (Area NY 307 591) A Roman altar inscribed Matri DOMVEX EgVI F was found 1830 in digging up the Wall at Dykesfield. The property of John Hodgson (1). Now lost (2) (Suggests probable site of temple, although not noticed by Lewis, 'Temples in Roman Britain' 1966). (1-2)
