Summary : Remains of motte, roughly oval in form with a surrounding ditch. The mound in 1972 was 130 feet in diameter at the base rising 14 feet above the bottom of the ditch. Scheduled.

Mound of roughly oval form with a surrounding ditch, partly destroyed. The mound is about 130ft in diameter at the base and rises about 14ft above the bottom of the ditch. It was prehaps a castle mound. (2)

This motte is as described. The ditch is 1.1m deep on the north side.
