More information : A circular tumulus, one foot in height and on higher ground than, and beyond the flood level of the find-spot of the Broadward haord (SO 37 NE 45). The mound is partially cut away on its' north side by the fence and ditch of an adjoining meadow. It had been reduced to its' present height many years ago, because a very large ash tree, (recently fallen), grew on the present level. Banks suggests that the urn found with the Broadward hoard originated here. (1) Nothing visible. (2) No traces of a round barrow could be found in the area. (3)
