Summary :
Grovelly section. The ditch averages 5.0m wide and 0.5m deep with a weak bank on the South side. It is infilled in at least 6 places where Roman Roads cross it, and is probably therefore a Bronze/Iron Age ranch boundary.

ST931361 - SU089328. Grims Ditch (Grovelly section). Interpreted as a BA/IA ranch boundary. It certainly predates the Roman roads which cut it.
