A `type A' terraced cottage situated at the eastern end of the terrace in Oxford Street, the Railway Village. It was designed by Brunel and comprises a two-storey, five roomed house, similar in plan to those in Oxford Street, Reading Street and Farringdon Street which were constructed in 1846. The cottage was built in 1853-4 during the final phase of development in the Railway Village and renovated in 1974. It is constructed of limestone ashlar, brick with a slate roof.
