Terrace of five-roomed cottages situated on the north side of Reading Street in the Railway Village. It was designed by Brunel and constructed in 1847. The cottages offered more superior accomodation than other terraces in the village and were designed for use by single families probably of foremen, possibly in conjunction with lodgers. The rear yard contained a wash house, privy and dust hole. The houses were renovated in 1974 and are constructed of stone ashlar, rubble and brick with slate roofs.
