Two `type B' cottages situated in East Street, the Railway Village. These were designed by Brunel and comprise two storey end block cottages for the terraces in Oxford Street and London Street, closing off cottage yards and forming ornamental entrances to the back alleys. The cottages were constructed in 1853-4 during the final phase of development of the Railway Village. The buildings were renovated in 1974 and are constructed of limestone ashlar and brick with slate roofs.
