Terrace of three `type A' cottages situated at the western end of Bathampton Street in the Railway Village. The houses were designed by Brunel and constructed in 1853-4 during the final phase of building in the village. The buildings comprise two storey, five-roomed houses similar in plan to those constructed in Oxford Street, Reading Street and Farringdon Street in 1846. The houses were renovated in 1974 and are constructed of limestone rubble and ashlar with slate roofs.
