Summary : A double ditched circular enclosure with an entrance in its southern side and a central pit is visible as cropmarks on air photographs. The diameter of the enclosure is circa 20 metres. The site may be interpreted either as a ploughed out round barrow or a hengiform monument.
More information : A possible Bronze Age barrow, or hengiform monument, was seen as
cropmarks and mapped from good quality air photographs. It is
visible as a double ditched enclosure, diameter 20m, with an
entrance in its south side, centred at SK 9253 3186. A central pit
is visible. (Morph No. LI.735.11.1-2)
