Summary : Potential Medieval settlement (crofts, enclosure and a building) seen as earthworks.
More information : The possible remains of Medieval settlement are visible as
earthworks, around the present village of Little Ponton. Fragments
of potential crofts are defined by conjoined ditched enclosures,
measuring on average 80m by 35m, centred at SK 9267 3203. An
enclosure, measuring 95m by 75m, is centred at SK 9236 3196.
Inside this enclosure are the remains of a possible building,
measuring 15m by 10m, centred at SK 9238 3195.
