Kinnersley Castle. There was a medieval building on the site, but the existing house, an interesting example of its period, was erected at the end of the 16th century. There is an 18th century addition on the W side and the E end of the E wing is modern. Listed as "especially worthy of preservation". The moat has been almost entirely filled in, but there are remains to the N and E of the house. (2)
Kinnersley Castle is now an Old Peoples Home and in a good state of repair. The gardens have been landscaped and no traces of the moat remain. Published survey (25") correct. (3)
