Potential enclosure of unknown date, seen as cropmarks.
Morphological description: an incomplete, subcircular enclosure,
diameter 55m, defined by 1 ditch. Centred at:-SK 8971 3162
(Morph No. LI.728.6.1)

The cropmark remains of the curvilinear enclosure described above along with the faint traces of possible ditches of uncertain date and origin were seen on aerial photographs. The ditches cross from opposite corners of the field forming an irregular cross. It is possible that these are envelope marks from an earlier field pattern. (2-3)
