Summary : Cropmarks of a possible Iron Age or Roman settlement consisting of a rectilinear enclosure divided into six smaller enclosures with four adjacent rectilinear enclosures.
More information : Possible Iron Age or Roman settlement was seen as cropmarks and mapped from poor quality air photographs. The main element of the settlement appears to be a rectilinear ditched enclosure, measuring 40m by 40m, which is divided into at least six smaller enclosures. It is centred at SK 8819 4901. Adjacent to this enclosure are four rectilinear enclosures, ranging in size from 5m by 5m to 15m by 10m. Also visible is a circular enclosure, diameter 15m.
