More information : A possible Prehistoric or Roman double ditched boundary was seen as cropmarks and mapped from good quality air photographs. It is 220m long and is centred at SK 8822 4931. (Morph No. LI.716.20.1)

Recent cropmark photography reveals that the double-ditched boundary recorded above extends to the east where it is, in part, defined by 3 ditches. It appears to link into a more extensive dyke/boundary system recorded separately (see SK 84 NE 6). (2-2a) |
