Summary : Post-Medieval features including cobbled yards and stone buildings were identified during excavations at Bury Close Roman villa (SP 31 NE 10) in 1987-88.
More information : SP 37501690: Post-Medieval features were identified during excavations at Bury Close Roman villa (SP 31 NE 10). Features included cobbled yards and stone buildings. Field walls surviving as earthworks were originally identifed by Warde Fowler to be the outline of the Roman villa. (1)
