More information : The possible remains of Medieval settlement were seen as earthworks, on the eastern fringes of Immingham village, and mapped from good quality air photographs. The fragmentary remains of tofts and crofts are visible to the west and east of Church Lane and Bluestone Lane centred at TA 1740 1490, TA 1768 1486, TA 1767 1462 and TA 1775 1440. These have mostly been built over. More fragmentary remains of tofts and crofts are visible to the east of Stallingborough road, centred at TA 1770 1415, TA 1780 1395 and TA 1794 1350. A potential hollow way runs between the tofts and crofts, centred at TA 1794 1350. Ridge and furrow survives as earthworks to the west and east of this centre at TA 1758 1384 and TA 1835 1392.
