Summary : Medieval settlement seen as cropmarks and earthworks.

The Medieval settlement described by authority 1 was mapped from
poor quality air photographs. On early photos it was visible as
earthworks but later it was seen as cropmarks. It consists of five
conjoined enclosures, possibly crofts, centred at TF 3048 6909. To
the south is another area of crofts centred at TF 3022 6879, two of
which contain a pit. Ridge and furrow lies to the north and south
of this second area. (Morph No. LI.120.1.1-6).
