Probable Roman road and possible side road or trackway seen as cropmarks consisting of an agger and side ditches. The road is a probable continuation of the Roman road Mareham Lane. Quarry pits flank the road.

A possible continuation of the Roman road Mareham Lane (RR260
Bourne -Sleaford) was seen as cropmarks and mapped from good
quality air photographs. The agger and side ditches of the road
are visible, interrupted only by modern roads, field boundaries
etc, for 3250m from TF 0789 4687 to TF 0809 5009. What appear to
be quarry pits flank the road in most of the visible stretches. A
possible track or minor road is visible heading north west from the
road for 480m from TF 0810 4847. Another possible section of the
main road is visible east of Sleaford (see TF 04 NE 90).
