More information : A Prehistoric or Roman settlement was seen as cropmarks and mapped from good quality air photographs. The following features were identified:-
Three sides of an incomplete, rectilinear ditch-defined enclosure, which has one dimension of 140m. The enclosure has an internal rectilinear sub-division. A probable hut circle, diameter 20m, lies within the angle of the sub-division and the main boundary of the enclosure; the hut circle has an entrance to the west. Centred at:-TF 0511 3663
A four sided asymmetric enclosure, 25m by 20m, with entrance to the north, lies on the outside of the enclosure, against its west side. Centred at:-TF 0501 3666 (Morph No. LI.827.1.1-3)
