More information : A Medieval shrunken village was seen as earthworks on poor quality air photographs. The features recorded included 3 crofts, defined by 1 bank, approximately 30m wide, centred at TF 0244 1634, with additional NGRs at TF 0247 1640 and TF 0249 1633. Amongst the crofts at TF 0246 1635, is a toft seen as a rectangular enclosure, approximately 10m wide and defined by 1 bank. Running along the southern edge of the crofts (centred at TF 0248 1630) is a hollow way, defined by 1 wide ditch and 2 banks, and approximately 145m long. To the south of this, on the other side of a stream, are a couple of stretches of ditch and bank (at TF 0253 1627 and TF 0258 1631), approximately 36m long, which may represent Medieval field boundaries.
