More information : Two Centurial stones found in 1912 in stones fallen from the reduction wall immediately east of Turret 29b. Both now in Chesters Museum. The stones are recorded as No.1517 and No.1518 in the Roman Inscriptions of Britain. Stone No. 1517 measures 9x6 inches and Stone No.1518 measures 8x5 inches. Both stones were found having fallen from the reduction-wall immediately east of Limestone Bank Turret (29b). (1)
