More information : ST58587330 The Nunnery of St Mary Magdalen, founded c1173, was dissolved as one of the lesser religious houses in 1536. The house stood at the entrance to Maudlin Street, which derives its name from the nunnery, and a few remains of the Perpendicular period have been found in the King David Inn. (1-3) |
