The earthwork remains of an Agricolan and later Roman fort and vicus. Excavations uncovered granaries, timber buildings, a pottery kiln, a bath house and pottery dating from AD 69 to the 4th century. The fort was probably adandoned in the later 2nd century AD. A Bronze Age enclosed cremation cemetery consisting of 5 urned burials was discovered.
