PRIORY FARMHOUSE

ALTERNATIVE NAME:  LITCHAM PRIORY

A former early 14th century chapel and hermitage which was converted into a farmhouse in the 17th century. It is of flint with stone and clunch dressings to the medieval part whilst the timber framing of the early 17th century side extension has been mainly replaced with brick and flint. There are late 17th century brick service and rear stair extensions.
