An evaluation trench found further evidence for two back-to-back barrack blocks aligned NW-SE in the right praetentura, first noted in 1984, as well as elements of St Nicholas' Priory church. The SW corner of the 14th century W end of the church and the robbed W wall of a previously unknown S aisle were recorded.
